In keeping with the intrinsic beauty and craftsmanship of the traditional English writing box, we at MDFritz Carpentry & Fine Woodwork have come up with an outstanding replica box based on a victorian writing box circa 1880. This box features brass corners, lock, hinges, and handle, suede writing surface with veneered border, writing flaps that open to store stationary and/or books, and a pen tray with adjacent inkwell/pounce pot compartments.
This Writing Box measures approx. 10-1/2" x 13-1/2" x 6" high in the closed position. 13-1/2" x 21-1/4" x 4" in the open position. Weight is approximately 11 lbs.
